PORCELAIN CONE LAMPS

This series of cone lamps is a product of a collaboration with the artist Kai Cui, and have been produced in the factory facilities of Kahla (porcelain manufacturer). Each lamp has an individual design, drawn with a black underglaze decoration pen, and is thereby unique and not repeatable. (23 cm high, 24 cm wide)

PORCELAIN BELL LAMPS

BATHTUB MOSAIC

For the mosaic of this bathtub, shiny as well as matted tiles of the same color were used. After coloring the tiles with oil lacquer, they were cut into small slices and installed on the bathtub’s outside.

PORCELAIN BUTTERKNIFES

Inspired by the typical Finnish wooden butterknife, these pieces are made from porcelain.The illustrations have been drawn with a black underglaze decoration pen for ceramics, and afterwards covered with a shiny or matt transparent glaze. The knifes are perfectly suitable for any spread, dip or butter of your wish.

POTTERY FROM JAPAN

During an artist in residence program at Shigaraki Ceramic Culture Park in Shigaraki, Japan, I produced small series of porcelain and clay pottery. The pieces were glazed with different colors and effects.

POTTERY FROM CANADA

These pieces were thrown with clay during an artist in residence program at Medalta in Medicine Hat, Canada. The illustrations have been drawn with a black underglaze decoration pen for ceramics, and afterwards covered with a shiny transparent glaze.
